for the full spectrum of
reproductive, family building & gender transitions
I firmly believe that all trans and queer people deserve support and guidance during life’s hardest transitions.
while you may find that my services intend to reach people who are beginning their journey through birth or family planning, I also wish to include systems of support for my trans siblings who may be lacking familial support systems.
first and foremost, I view myself as a caretaker.
this can be physical care- I provide medical escort services for my clients, accompany you to doctors appointments and physically support you through gender affirming surgery or postpartum recovery.
mental care- providing you with the tools and support to remember how to take care of yourself, explore ways to expand your support systems, reconnect with yourself emotionally and connect with others around you.
Spiritual care- using rituals (culturally relevant to the client) for grief or closure. Finding outlets to explore & release emotions (art, body movement, and more) , and actively breaking down the systems we have been trained into that have stripped us of our connections to our self, our ancestors, and put your gender, body, or self in a box.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
A doula is a trained or experienced care worker, not a medical professional.
a doula provides education, advocacy and support through your many life and reproductive transitions.
in the past, though doulas may have not used that name, birth was almost never a solitary event.
communities have always had a need for care work of this nature long before colonization and western medicine formalized childbirth
-
I call myself a trans doula not only because I myself am a trans person, but also because I want to openly extend my work to supporting trans people at any point in their life journey- whether that be in gender transition, family planning, or birth & postpartum services
-
No! I have worked with people who are not queer or trans, and will always offer my services to anyone who reaches out and thinks I am a good fit for their journey! I just want to openly extend my services to the trans and queer community at any moment I can.
-
I have a base level suggestion of what my services cost- dependent on your specific situation we can find the pricing that fits your needs. This is also why I always offer a free consultation before we start working together!

I have taken doula training courses through BADT (birthing advocacy doula trainings) which includes trans and queer birth training as part of their inclusive curriculum. I myself am a person of the trans experience, I have been on this journey since I came out as pansexual/bisexual as a teenager and later on discovered my gender dysphoria in my early twenties. Since then I have guided and supported other friends & community members on their own journeys coming into themselves and have wanted to expand my support to family building and reproductive health.
